“… losing the battle.”

I read the words you write, and see the pictures you post, and I can tell. It’s not every day, and it’s not all the time, but on some days and at some times, you’re losing the battle.

You need help. I know you do. And I would give whatever I could of it to you if you asked, but you won’t. You need real help – the kind not just everyone can give. I hope you’re getting it, and if you’re not, let me help you get help, if nothing else.

It isn’t weakness to admit you need help with everything you’ve faced, and it isn’t strength or fortitude to ignore how you feel in the hopes it will go away.

Newsflash: it won’t.

You seem to gain strength by giving to others. That’s great: don’t stop, because that’s you. But you need to give to yourself this one time, okay? Because love, among other things, takes turns.

Take your turn.
