Favorite Songs: The Lonely Sea

First the original version:

The lonely sea
The lonely sea
It never stops
For you or me
It moves along
From day to day

That’s why my love
That’s why my love
You’ll never stay
You’ll never stay

This pain in my heart
These tears in my eyes
Please tell the truth
You’re like the lonely sea
The lonely sea

Then, a wonderful version by three women, a dude with guitar, and a vibraphone.

  1. I like the ‘wonderful version’ better too.

The word ‘truth’in the lyrics jumps out at me. Truth can be painful but truth always sets you free. Or at least for me, it does at this moment, right now.
